Anthropologie Inspired Necklace Tutorial & GIVEAWAY!

GIVEAWAY CLOSED
We all LOVE it and wish we had it.... {some of us probably do...???}
Anthropologie jewelry!
Well I am going to show you how to make {my version} of an Anthropologie inspired necklace
Here is one that I found that I love:
{Anthropologie Version}
L.O.V.E it! But..... its $198.00!!!!!!
Here is my version:
{Mama Jill version}
I love this one even better because it only cost me about $6!!!!!!
{That was a total guesstimation.. I don't even think it cost me that much!}

Lets make it!
Here are your supplies:
Supplies:
-Chain necklace {I found this one at walmart a while back in the craft section. I think it was $3}
-Hot glue gun
-3 different fabrics {I used white chiffon, taupe chiffon and some lace trim (anthropologie used twill), all from hobby lobby}
-felt
-scissors
-needle and thread
Cut your felt into little squares. {I needed 9} Mine were about 1 square inch
{You could totally do circles. I just wanted to mix it up}

Cut all your fabric choices into strips. Mine were about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long.
{please ignore my HORRID nails! I asked my husband for a mani pedi for valentines day}

Scrunch up one strip and put a glob of hot glue on it.
Place in the middle of felt square.
{This is like how you do those pom pom flowers. Good tutorial for it HERE}

Keep on going until you cover your little felt strip.
{Or until you think it looks good. :) I used about 8 strips per pom)

Trim! {This step is totally optional but I thought it looked more polished}
I also trimmed the felt square underneath after hot glued it all.

REPEAT these steps for all your fabric choices. {I made 5 white poms, 2 taupe and 2 ribbon}

Now get all your poms lined up on the necklace how you want it

Take a break and get some fuel. :)
{I was doing this at midnight so I needed a little extra motivation}

After you find where you want your poms hand sew them in place

{This step is TOTALLY optional. I did it so it would be EXTRA secure}

Then I hot glued OVER the stiches.

Repeat steps with all the poms.
Almost done!

This is what the finished product looks like on the back side

Done!

Don't all those ruffles make you want to smile? :)

Soooo..... GUESS WHAT!?

Yep!
